PLEASE KNOW A LITTLE   HERE

"The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it" Ps 68:11

The Maiduguri NEM Divisional Headquarters church was established in 1975 in a primary school class room. It is the missionary prowess of this church that gave birth to all the churches in the division. Today it occupies a strategic position in the history of Christianity in Borno State, a predominantly Muslim stronghold.
The division is made up of four (4) districts. They are:-
1. Kano District
2. Mubi District
3. Michika District
4. Jajeri District

The Division is overseen by the Assistant General Superintendent of the Mission and his wife, Rev. Daniel Ikechukwu Egboka and Rev. Mrs. Pauline Egboka. They reside in Maiduguri with their lovely children.

KANO DISTRICT
This District has the Kano Church as its Headquarter at no 56 Abeokuta Road, Sabon Gari, Kano. It is being overseen by Rev. D. Emmanuel Onuora.
Kano District was established in 1982. It was started in a primary school classroom in Sabon Gari and by God’s special grace, we spread to become a District of eight churches including the District Headquarter. They are:- (1. Saminaka Church (2. Zaria Church (3. Doguwa Church (4. Gumel Church (5. Guzaul Church (6. Maru Church (7. Dutse Church and Kano H/Q Church.

MUBI DISTRICT
This District under the supervision of Rev. Paul Alahamdu was established as far back as 1977 as a missionary field. The church started in a primary school classroom. In a predominantly Muslim city, we depended upon the grace of God and today it is a full blown District with seven churches scattered all over Adamawa State.
The churches that make up Mubi District are – Gombi, Golembatal, Uvu, Nokwam Nbulum, Wurobalka and Mubi churches.

MICHIKA DISTRICT
As mission oriented organization, National Evangelical Mission moved to evangelize Michika in Adamawa State in 1983. That outreach produced Michika Church which is now a District with eight churches. They are – Nuhu, Shuwa, Baza, Mbororo, Magadali, Gwoza, Mountain and Michika churches.

JAJERI DISTRICT
Jajeri church was established in an open field in 1985. Today we have a church building on the land with ten additional churches within the District.
They are: Bama, Doro, Banki, Mongonu, Baga, Atagara, Custom, Shagari Low Cost, Kpalo, and Madayi churches.

The Maiduguri Divisional and Jajeri District Headquarter Churches came under attack on Sunday 26 and Monday 27 July, 2009. The Islamic faithfulls called Boko Haram (the Nigerian aclaimed Talibans) bombed our churches killing some of our brethren in the fire. Go to our BOKO HARAM ATTACK page and you will find some disturbing pictures that will increase your faith in the Lord.

Today we have started rebuilding our lives and church buildings as the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ strives in the face of stiff opposition. We therefore appeal for your help and encouragement. If you wish to assist us please .
